Product Overview & Key Features
Cotton Lycra rib knit fabric is produced with a rib knitting structure that creates visible vertical ribs on both sides of the fabric. Compared with standard jersey, the rib construction offers greater elasticity and shape retention while maintaining the natural softness and breathability of cotton.
The addition of Lycra provides extra stretch and recovery, allowing garments to remain comfortable and fitted after repeated wear and washing. Commonly available in 1×1 and 2×2 rib constructions, this fabric is suitable for fitted T-shirts, tank tops, loungewear, leggings, children’s clothing and neckband or cuff applications.
With medium fabric weights typically ranging from 200 to 300 GSM, it provides a soft hand feel, stable structure and reliable performance in garment manufacturing.
