Product Overview & Key Features

Cotton spandex rib knit fabric is a stretch knitted fabric produced with a rib structure such as 1×1, 2×2, or 4×2 rib. The addition of spandex improves elasticity and recovery, allowing the fabric to maintain its shape after repeated wear and washing. Compared with plain jersey, the rib construction provides a more textured surface and stronger stretch in both width and length directions.

Made primarily from cotton, this fabric offers a soft hand feel, good breathability, and excellent moisture absorption, making it suitable for close-to-skin garments. It is commonly used for neckbands, sleeve cuffs, waistbands, hems, and also for fitted tops, children’s wear, underwear, and lightweight casual garments. The fabric is easy to sew, comfortable to wear, and can be supplied in different weights and knitting structures to suit various apparel applications.
