Product Overview & Key Features

Organic cotton rib knit fabric is produced with a vertical rib knitting structure that gives the fabric natural elasticity, improved recovery and a soft textured surface. Compared with standard jersey, rib knit offers better stretch and shape retention while maintaining excellent breathability and wearing comfort. Based on the provided specifications, this fabric is commonly made from 95–100% organic cotton with optional spandex content for additional flexibility. Yarn counts from 16s to 32s and knitting gauges between 16 and 36 allow the fabric to be adapted for both lightweight and medium-weight garments.

The fabric is especially suitable for babywear, underwear, sleepwear and next-to-skin apparel because of its soft hand feel, moisture absorption and skin-friendly performance. GOTS-certified organic cotton options are available for brands requiring sustainable and certified materials.
