Product Overview & Key Features
Cotton rib knit fabric is a knitted fabric made with alternating knit and purl stitches to create a ribbed surface with excellent stretch and recovery. Common constructions include 1×1 and 2×2 rib, making the fabric suitable for both garment body panels and trim applications such as cuffs, collars and waistbands. Produced from 100% cotton yarn, the fabric offers a soft hand feel, natural breathability and comfortable skin contact.
Compared with plain jersey, rib knit provides greater elasticity and a more structured appearance while maintaining good comfort for daily wear. Different yarn counts and fabric weights can be selected to suit lightweight T-shirts, children’s garments, underwear or heavier sweatshirt trims.
