Tencel French Terry fabric is a knitted loopback fabric developed for premium casualwear and athleisure garments. The face side is smooth and clean, while the reverse side features soft terry loops that improve moisture absorption and wearing comfort. Made primarily from Tencel blended with cotton or recycled fibers, this fabric offers a softer and cooler hand feel than conventional cotton terry.
The breathable knitted construction allows good airflow, making it suitable for spring, autumn and lightweight winter garments. Typical production weights range from 180 GSM for lightweight tops to 360 GSM for heavier sweatshirts and outerwear. With stable width, moderate stretch and good drape, Tencel French Terry is easy to cut and sew for garment manufacturers producing hoodies, sweatshirts, sportswear and children’s clothing.
